Georgie is Ellie's and Gemma's Ruby friend whom they sometime see on their
walks. Sometimes he comes to visit us too. He is a super boy with a lovely
soft temperament .
George (Black & Tan) and Sam (Tri-colour) are rescue dogs too, they live with Candy and Andrew in Derbyshire. We met last year and introduced Gemma and Ellie to the boys! At one of our favorite beaches Humanby Gap, near Filey in Yorkshire.
Ellie was so in love with Sam that she actually chased him on the beach, a real moment of progress for her! She usually runs the other way. George made overtures to Gemma, but she was having none of it and promptly sat down on her backside giving him warning little growls. George was shocked and stunned at this rejection and George being George ignored her totally after that!
George and Sam have a website too Cavalier Tales which is on my link page. Ellie and Gemma really recommend a visit!
Mum and Dad went to visit the USA last year, their first visit to the USA
they did not take us because it was too far for us to go. Which was a shame
really. We went on holiday with Grandma and Grandad Cooper to our caravan
in Skipsea which is in a beautiful part of East Yorkshire. Here we are
enjoying ourselves!
Mum met lots of nice Cavalier people whilst she was over in California and
went to one of Zanna Knight world renowned Cavalier Pawty's. She met
Zanna's Oliver and Barris. Oliver does obiedience and agility and has
excelled himself at the sport. Oliver is a real little character, who like
most Cavaliers loves everyone. It clear though he has a special bond with
Zanna. Barris is a little shy and reticent with strangers, but is a
lovely boy. Mary Henry and Baker who was in his element with all the lovely
Cavaliers and the cuddles too. Carol Bischard's family of Cavaliers, Edward,
Bonnie and Bentley their new Ruby puppy. Cavaliers were everywhere and
getting hugs and kisses from everyone and treats too. Mum had a lovely
time and wants to go back to California again some day to meet them all
again. Mum got to know these people via the Cavalier Hoflin List.
Mum and Dad also met Mini who is a minature Pomeranian who lives with Brett
(Mum's son) and Marie his girlfriend. They live in Redondo Beach California.
Mum has made some doggy friends on the forum
too from all over the world. Here are Digby and Clancy who live in Perth Western Australia
with their Mum Pippa and Dad Butch. My those boys get up to some antics up in Ben's
Rapids. Mum hopes to meet them in person soon when she goes to visit an old
schoolfriend whom she has not seen since 1954.
Mum is a moderator for the UK Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Forums and has made some very good friends on there. Dad says she is always on the computer these days, but it keeps her busy doing what she likes talking and looking at pictures of Cavaliers. That is how we met George and Sam and we hope to meet other Cavaliers in time.
Gemma is in love with Pouting Pepys............. Pepys is owned by Ruth who
has rescue Cavaliers and a Rottwieller too.
Pat Morris, is our resident Health and Nutrion expert as she is a retired
vet....shssh v.e.t. She has one lovely boy named Buddy but has had Cavaliers
in her family for many years. She takes lots of pictures too, some of the
Royal Family and has met HM the Queen in person and taken photos of the
corgis. She does a lot of work for the Riding for the Disabled group too.
Here is one of Buddy who is the Forum lothario, always one for the ladies
but he is not for us I am afraid. Pepys and Sam are the main doggies in
our household.

Ella was taken off all antibiotics and steroids a few months ago, following a massive haemmorhage at the end of September last year, due to an auto-immune disorder.
She had to receive a blood transfusion, and at the 11th hour, Jess - her litter sister - did the honours, and saved her life.
I'm a sassy girl underneath this sweet exterior
- I'm gonna live life to the full - just you wait and see!
Jess the life-saver!
The last 8 months have been 'touch and go', with a steroid/antibiotic regime, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. And ultimately it was thought the steroids themselves were doing more harm than good (outwardly, she lost all of her 'belly hair' and became very, very, scurfy - blood tests were bearing out some other problems because of them, too). So the decision was made to withdraw all treatment, to see how she fared.
Two brave girls and not a situation I would like to find my girls in.

Ella and Jess share their home with Jack and Rosie -also litter mates: brother and sister.
